TRAINING TRACKS
MARATHON
THIS PROGRAM IS DESIGNED FOR MARATHONERS WHO ARE RACING A SPRING MARATHON, WITH SPECIAL EMPHASIS ON THE 2020 BOSTON MARATHON. WE WILL BEGIN WITH MARATHON TRAINING PROGRAMMING IMMEDIATELY.
SPEED DEVELOPMENT
THIS PROGRAM IS DESIGNED FOR MARATHONERS LOOKING TO WORK ON SPEED, MECHANICS & ANAEROBIC ENDURANCE. THE EMPHASIS IS ON RACE DISTANCES BETWEEN HALF MARATHON & THE MILE. ANY RACE DISTANCE CAN BE ACCOMODATED & THE PROGRAM WILL TARGET THE GOALS OF THE PEOPLE WHO JOIN THE GROUP. RACING IS ENCOURAGED, BUT NOT REQUIRED.
SHORT RACE FOCUS (800M TO HALF MARATHON)
THIS PROGRAM IS DESIGNED FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO CONCENTRATE ON HAVING A SERIOUS, FOCUSED SHORT RACE TRAINING & RACING CYCLE. WHILE THE WORKOUTS IN THIS TRACK WILL BE SIMILAR TO THE SPEED DEVELOPMENT TRACK, THE FOCUS IS ON RACING & A WIDE RANGE OF RACES THROUGHOUT THE PROGRAM. ANY DISTANCE BELOW THE HALF MARATHON & ABOVE THE 800M WILL BE ACCOMODATED. THE PROGRAM WILL BE DESIGNED ONCE WE KNOW THE RACING PLANS OF THE ATHLETES WHO SIGN UP FOR THIS TRACK.
MAINTENANCE/FOUNDATIONS
THIS PROGRAM IS DESIGNED FOR THOSE WHO DO NOT HAVE RACES ON THE HORIZON BUT WANT TO CONTINUE TO TRAIN IN A FOCUSED & DISCIPLINED MANNER TO ENSURE THEIR CONTINUED AEROBIC DEVELOPMENT.
